My mom and I were really excited to get tickets for BTS’s Arirang World Tour. I’ve been an ARMY since about 2014 and got her into BTS around 2018-ish after something that I consider an emergency but she was very much not amused by me using my college emergency money for said event (I’ll tell that story later). We already knew it would be so hard to get USA tickets so we decided why not try for Latin America…

Why did no one mention until the moment I almost purchased our tickets (we were even saving for VIP) that the floor seats were all standing?! In Korea, Japan, and I believe all the US stops, the stadium still has chairs/seats for GA floor and VIP. Who is standing for a roughly 2 hour concert, not to mention that soundcheck starts at like 4 or 5 pm and you can’t exit the stadium afterwards despite the concert not starting till 7 or 8pm? What do we have against chairs? I have a chronic illness and my mother is in her 50s. Honestly, even if we didn’t have those two conditions that’s kind of crazy.
